Bear Valley Precision Casting
Bear Valley Precision Casting has 18 years of experience providing high-quality casting solutions for dozens of industries. We work hard to ensure that parts are made to the specifications and requirements of the customer and delivered on time. We offer a wide variety of services from in house heat treat, black oxide and cerakote coatings, in house tooling and machining, straightening and dimensional inspection of castings.
Tooling and Machining Capabilities
With the capability of designing and building tooling in house, turn around time on new projects is very quick. Once tooling is complete First Articles on the new parts are rushed through the process to ensure the tooling is correct. If changes need to be made they are done quickly with new parts rushed though the process. Once tooling is approved production of parts will proceed.
In addition to tooling if machining is required on castings we provide in house machining of casting as well to provide the customer with a complete part ready for their end customer.
Pouring Capabilities
BVPC can pour several different types of metal both ferrous and nonferrous. We have the capability to pour up to 150lbs of ferrous alloy in one pour and 100 lbs of nonferrous alloy in one pour. We utilize a 50 lb melt unit for smaller parts and the 150lb tilt furnace for larger castings. Nonferrous alloys are poured using a 500lb melt pot.

In house Heat Treating
BVPC also offers in house heat-treating of most alloys. This reduces production time and costs for your castings, eliminating outside processing and shipment back and forth from your casting house to the heat treat house.
Our Abar Vacuum oven has a max temp of 2200 degrees and has a load capacity of 1000 lbs, the hot zone measures 24" x24" x 48". Allowing us to perform all different processes like annealing, homogenizing, tempering, and hardening. We use an open air aging/tempering oven with a max temp of 1200 degrees. This enables us to move more parts though the vacuum furnace.
